I’m honored to have three of my Van Gogh poems, “Fugitive Red,” “Sixteen Balls of Yarn and a Few Loose Strands,” and “History Whispers,” included in Menacing Hedge. Van Gogh explored so many of my own obsessions in his letters. These poems helped me organize my first full-length poetry manuscript, Fugitive Red.

I’m delighted to have another poem, “Night Drive,” included in Poetry Breakfast! So many of the streets and landmarks in my town have intriguing names — I find myself imagining stories about them.
